July 2010 Technology Update

We've had a bit of a shake-up in our compact digital camera section and really sharpened our prices on some great models. We've got the ever-popular Canon PowerShot A490 at a new, even lower price. Don't be fooled by the low price, this is a great 10.0 MegaPixel digital camera from Canon with a 3.3x optical zoom and Canon DiG!C III image processor. It also comes with Scene Detection, Face Detection, Motion Detection and Noise Reduction as standard, making it even easier to get the perfect shot!

Want a digital camera that's as tough as you? Well, that can at least handle a few knocks and not end up in a mess? The Panasonic DMC-FT2 Tough could be exactly what you're after! With it's 'Quad Rugged Protection', this camera can survive 10m water, 2m drops, dust and frost (-10 degrees)! Yet it's still got great Panasonic optics including a 4.6x Optical Zoom and 2.7 inch LCD Screen. Well worth a look for adventurers, travellers and those of us who don't want to have to worry about their digicam.
