Photo printing is what Epson Stylus Photo R2880 is all about. Not only does it support various media from cut sheets to rolls and paper to CDs, it also possesses advanced features that ensure high accuracy of details and vivid colors when printing images. R2880’s unique feature is its Epson Ultra Chrome K3 Ink that gives colors added definition, as if printing straight from the camera. R2880 gives all its prints a stunning finish with its superior light reflection, an additional value of the K3 ink.

Advance Colour Management
Regardless of the finish, glossy, matte or fine art, colours sure come out more vivid with the Epson UltraChrome K3 Ink. K3 introduces two new inks, Vivid Magenta and Vivid Light Magenta, which give prints an additional gamut especially for blue and magenta. K3 Ink also gives prints consistency in terms of light sources and colour values as rendered in the image source (i.e. camera). The same technology allows deep absorption of pigment into the paper, making printouts more durable and less prone to smudge.
Black and White Beauty
K3 ink not only specializes in coloured prints, it also boost of producing dramatic black-and-white outputs. As opposed to coloured, b&w requires clear distinction of every shade, from white, to grey and black. K3 has a three level black ink technology that consists of Matte or Photo black, Light Black + Light Light Black that gives superior tones for natural looking shade gradation - perfect for shadows and highlights. To top them all, K3 has a very high D-Max for rich jet black prints.
Quality and Flexibility
R2880 supports various types of media which allows presentation of images alternately in glossy, matter and fine art papers, board with 1.3 mm thickness, roll paper and even on CDs or DVDs. Regardless of the media, prints come out in its finest with the 5760 Optimised DPI Technology that works with the Multi Layer Piezo print head and Variable Sized Droplet Technology – all in the R2880. Complementing these features is the resin coat of K3 ink which effects superior light reflection.
