True to its name, the Epson Perfection V600 is a photo scanner that aims for perfection when it comes to scanning, enhancing, archiving and sharing both film and photo collections. Photo and Film Scanning
Epson Perfection V600 has a built-in transparency unit that allows scanning of slides, negatives and medium-format panoramic film. Creation of enlargements from film is possible for up to 17” x 22” with 6400 x 9600 dpi optical resolution. Films and slides can be digitized in formats including 35mm strip film x 12 frames, 35 mm slide x 4 frames and panoramic medium film formal up to 6 x 22cm x 1 frame.

Enhancement Features
Among the many enhancement features of V600 is DIGITAL ICE® which removes the appearance of dust and scratches from film and takes off tears and creases from photos. Faded photos can be restored when scanning with V600 through its Epson Easy Photo Fix® feature. Text-based files can be converted into editable text utilizing the machine’s ABBYY®, FineReader® and Sprint Plus OCR features.

Ease of Operation
The machine has four one-touch buttons that clearly indicate the expected result including “Scan-to-PDF”, “Scan-to-Email”, “Copy” and “Start”. Through the Epson Event Manager, the buttons may be customized to suit personal preferences. Since the machine requires no warm-up and works as fast as 6seconds per scan, there is less waiting time.
